Miss Pam's Art Membership

Miss Pam’s Art Membership is designed for families with elementary school age children who love to create and learn through engaging art projects while being supported by Miss Pam and like-minded peers! Art projects range from beginner to intermediate. Many parents enjoy creating alongside their children, families gather to have family art nights, children enjoy doing the lessons with friends on playdates, as a quiet activity whenever the mood strikes, or as a part of their weekly routine! How you structure when and where you do the lessons is entirely up to you. All of the recorded lessons in the membership are taught by Miss Pam.

Miss Pam’s approach leads students through a project in small steps. Within each step, students learn how they can make their art unique as they learn about and apply techniques. The membership is just as great for beginners as it is for more experienced young artists. Within a project there are multiple videos. Videos are short so that each step can be accomplished before moving on to the next step. And you can decide if that step will be right away, or the following week. Each short video (4-14 minutes) takes you to the perfect stopping point.

Once you enroll, your family will have access to a members-only platform—an ever-expanding library of fun recorded art lessons developed and taught by Miss Pam, access to a private members-only community forum and optional live show-n-shares where families can show their artwork to Miss Pam and other members for support and encouragement. Each month, new art lessons will be uploaded into the member’s platform.  You will be able to log into the platform anytime from the convenience of your home, vacation spot, Grandma’s house, or wherever you are!  The platform is mobile friendly for families on the go.

That’s the best part and the reason that I created the Membership—there is no set time commitment or schedule; You get to choose whether you save the lessons up for a rainy Saturday, or do them weekly as part of your routine! As a mom, I know that the flexibility of the membership will allow children and families to participate in whatever ways make the most sense for them. Some children may want to speed me up to 1.5x or slow me down to .5x (I sound hilarious either way) and some like to pause, reflect, create and return. However it works best for your children and families, is exactly the way I hope you will use the Membership.

All of the video lessons are pre-recorded and you can watch them anytime as long as you are a member in good standing.  Miss Pam will offer live sessions on Zoom within the membership, which are optional, so children and families can share their artwork and talk about their ideas, challenges they ran into and how they solved them, and share their process as Miss Pam leads the Show-N-Share.  In addition, there will be opportunities to join Miss Pam for live classes.  Classes may be recorded and uploaded into the membership.

You will need some basic supplies to get you started: A set of crayons, markers, oil pastels, watercolors, scissors, mixed-media paper and a good brush will give you a fantastic start. Miss Pam has a list of recommended materials inside the membership for your reference. The fun part is that Miss Pam will show you how to use your materials in new ways, and of course depending on the lessons that you choose, you may need some additional materials.

Inside the password protected membership platform, you will have access to a private forum (Facebook-style) community forum where other members (parents or children under the supervision of their parents)  will have the opportunity to share ideas, ask questions of Miss Pam and others, receive feedback/troubleshooting from Miss Pam, show photos of their art and more. While participation is encouraged, if you don’t wish to participate, that is completely fine! If you do wish to be part of this support network, please jump in the group and introduce yourself!

Inside the password protected membership platform, you will have access to a private forum. Miss Pam will be in the forum anywhere from daily to several times a week to look at artwork that you’ve posted to comment and share positive encouragement, help with any challenges or questions and join in conversations! Miss Pam loves connecting with her students because she genuinely cares about her student’s progress and enjoyment of the process.

They will be there for you when you are ready! As long as you remain a member, you may return to projects at your convenience to do any time, so you never have to worry about a project time expiring. They are there in the project library for you to access when it works for you.

You may take the classes wherever you are! The lessons are recorded and available to watch 24/7.

You may cancel your membership at any time for any reason, or no reason at all! You will be able to continue as a member through the month you paid. For example, if you join as a monthly member on August 29 and you decide to cancel your membership on September 5, you will still have access until the renewal date of September 29. (No refunds offered for “partial months”)  If you join as an annual member and decide to cancel before the year is complete, you will receive a prorated refund at the regular monthly price. (Members get two months free when they join the membership at the annual rate.)

The lessons and community are for members only, so once you cancel, you will not have access to any of the lessons. However, you are always welcome back at whatever the current price is when you re-join.

It depends on when you join!  Miss Pam’s Art Membership is a wealth of art lessons developed by Miss Pam over her 20 year career as children’s art specialist. Once you join the membership, you will have access to as many lessons as are in the membership as well as Miss Pam’s personal attention inside the members-only password protected community and live lessons and show-n-shares. When you join, your monthly or annual fee is locked in as long as you are a member in good standing! As the features and benefits of the membership increase, the price will reflect the benefits but YOUR price will remain the same price as when you joined, regardless of price increases. Once you cancel, you will rejoin at whatever the current price is at the time that you rejoin.

You will have access to the membership the moment you join! You will be able to watch any of the lessons that are stored in the library and do them at your convenience! Each month, new lessons will be released into the library -- famous artists, contemporary artists, as well as a variety of different subjects using art as a vehicle for learning! 

The doors to the membership are only open two times per year, so if you are interested and ready to make awesome art, now is the best time! The membership will be open in August and January for new members to join.

For the recorded lessons, no. You may watch them at any time as well as post in the community anytime. Live classes will be recorded and loaded into the membership for you to watch when you would like. Live show-n-shares will not be recorded, and are optional.  

It is VERY important to me that cost and accessibility not be factors in exposing children to fun and engaging art lessons. In my virtual and in-person classes, each child in the family must register separately but in Miss Pam’s Art Membership, the membership is for the whole family unit!  Likewise, I wanted it to be a no-brainer for busy families whose children love art but can’t always commit to a specific time and place each week. I specifically designed it to be mobile friendly so children on-the-go could access the lessons while waiting at their sibling’s sports practices, or wherever Wifi is available! The app makes it easy for kids and parents to navigate!
